Movement For Preservation

The Nara Imperial palace Site is large field without buildings. People have intended to develop it many times. We must keep The Nara Imperial palace Site away from the third time crisis and preserve the world treasures. 　The Nara Imperial palace Site will be just thirteen hundred years old at 2010. They intend to be opened Keinawa Highway to traffic by the time. Boring examinations for making a tunnel will be continued until spring in 2001.

<The Garden Of East Palace>

　From a point of geological view, the vein of water under The Nara Imperial palace Site hasn't been known well and we can't penetrate the whole by those examinations.
If the tunnel is made, the water flows through the tunnel and the water level goes down.

　We have to stop this construction to protect The Nara Imperial palace Site. Do you think it is good that relics preserved long time are broken as soon as they were registered in World Heritage. We act to keep The Nara Imperial palace Site away from Keinawa Highway Construction.
